PROMISE TEACHER INTERNS:
The most meaningful part of working with the Junior Senior Scholars this summer was seeing the students grow and learn new things. It also helped me grow as a teacher. I became more confident and learned how to teach in better ways.
I gained experience in classroom management, communication, teamwork, and adapting lessons to meet students’ needs. I also learned the importance of being patient, encouraging, and flexible, which are skills that will help me in my future career.
The most meaningful part was building relationships with the students and watching them become more confident throughout the summer. It was rewarding to see them learn new things, participate in activities, and enjoy coming to class each day. Knowing I had a positive impact on their experience made the internship meaningful.
This summer, I improved my communication, leadership, and teaching skills. I also learned how to be more patient, solve problems, and explain ideas in simple ways. These skills will help me in my future career because I will be working with and helping people.
